Core Folio is a place to hold your own life — your people, plans, and memories. This page explains what we collect, why, and where it goes.
What we collect
- Your email and name, so your Core Folio belongs to you.
- Everything you choose to add — notes, links, photos, videos, scribbles, dates, people, and places.
- If you add a passkey, your device's public key and credential ID — never your fingerprint, face, or PIN, which never leave your device.
Where it's stored
In Cloudflare's database and file storage, under our account. We don't run our own servers and don't copy your data anywhere else.
Who else sees it
Nobody, with two exceptions:
- Cora, the in-app assistant. When you ask Cora a question or use a feature like Enhance my day, the relevant parts of your Core Folio are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. This only happens when you use those features.
- Signing in. When you sign in by email, we send a one-time link through Resend, an email service, which is therefore given your email address and nothing else. That message only contains the link itself.
- Subscribing. If you subscribe, the purchase happens through Apple — we never see or store your card. Apple gives us a transaction reference, which we keep to know your subscription is current, and we check it with Apple’s servers when it renews, lapses or is refunded.
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use any third-party analytics or tracking.
Deleting things
Anything you add can be deleted from inside the app at any time. To delete your account and everything in it — notes, photographs, videos and the account itself — press Delete my account in the app; it happens immediately and cannot be undone. Or email us and we'll do it for you.
Children
Core Folio isn't directed at children, and we ask that you don't use it if you're under 16.
Changes
If this changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
